I trust that whoever designed the bracket to hold this Kryptonite lock has been taken out back and shot. Not only is it an incredible pain to mount on the bike (presuming that you can even find a place for the 9.5 inch lock bar on most bikes), but once you've mounted it, getting the lock in and out of it for a "quick release" requires more effort that it might to steal the bike in the first place.I'd suggest keeping the lock in the bracket and just chaining the bike to the lock---no one will ever get it out of the bracket to release the chain.
Kryptonite should send a written apology and a juice drink to every person who tried to used this bracket. The lock, I like. I can hardly wait for the bracket to break (it's doomed, I can just tell) so that I can carry it in my backpack or design a bracket that makes sense.
