I purchased this bike for my son's 4th birthday last year (2007).The construction is very heavy-duty and a year later it is still a good size for him.He is a little on the destructive side but this bike shows no evidence of that.It is still in great shape.I bought my daughter a bike from Wal-Mart and the John Deer bike is of much more solid construction.We are very pleased with the quality of this bike.Click Here to see more reviews about: Learning Curve Heavy Duty 16" Bicycle
