I purchased this doll in December 2000.She doesn't come with a brush but she comes with a cardboard "surfboard" which is okay for posing.Kira's hair quality is exceptional and shiny.It is not stringy and tangly as older Barbie dolls.It is a mixture of dark brown and black strands for a very natural look.Her hair was orginally cut to look even in her pigtails so if her hair elastics are taken out, her hair seems a little bit choppy at the ends.Her waistline is not jointed but subtly shaped, unlike the severe waistlines of older Barbie dolls.
Kira's overall look is very versatile with other outfits and personas besides her "Surf City" personality.
