This costume was true to size and included the jumpsuit, shin guards and mask.The headpiece is a mask and not a helmet. The elastics were not securely connected on the shin guards, so we ended up having to pin them on.But my son was thrilled with his authentic looking motocross racer costume!

The Electric X-500 Electric Scooter Review

I was excited after purchasing my scooter and for the most part
am happy with its design EXCEPT, the front brakes on my scooter
would not assign properly to the braking disk.The instruction
manual looked like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy and
really could not be more uninformative or clear.
Instructions to adjust the front brakes stated they were pre-aligned
at the factory, however when I went to assemble them around the
front wheel disk, they had to be loosed so both pads, magnets only,
and after that, the brake system just didn't work right.
I emailed tech support numerous times but haven't received one
response yet.And I suspect that my front tire was used since its
treads are suspiciously shallow.
It has a good solid frame and battery life.I blew my first fuse
only a couple days after use and since then, according to the other customers
complaint about the fuses blowing, I carry extra fuses with me.
When the first one blew, I had to walk my scooter a few blocks
because I left them at home. SO BRING THEM WITH YOU if you don't
feel like walking back to get them.
I really like the scooter but because of the customer service and
cheap front brake, I would be hesitant upon another purchase.
All I want is a response from their tech support.And the only
thing you can do is email them and wait for a response.The only
phone number they provide is if you want to purchase something.

X-Treme Scooters Kids Electric Scooter Review

We got this scooter for our 5 yo daughter for Christmas, now its September and we are throwing it out. I will say it was used a lot. Riders: ALWAYS wear a helmet!

The Good:
- charge. This thing runs a long time. Very impressed with that aspect of it. Nice charger with lights (although they were backwards from what was said in the manual.)
- Variable throttle.
- Light weight.
- Moves even my 200 lbs at a good speed.

The Bad:
- The wheels suck - hard wheels. DO NOT GET A SCOOTER WITH HARD WHEELS. It really sucks trying to get over any sort of rough terrain, even rough asphalt. Get inflated tires. Also, when we adjusted the brakes to give sufficient stopping power, you easily wear off part of the wheel and then its no longer round. You can hear the scooter go "thump - thump" a mile away and it jiggles the rider because of the worn out wheel. Got another for $16 from them, but a) its a BEAR to install and b) it wore out the first day. Note this was due to the brakes failing and then you're stuck with either you have too much braking or not enough due to the worn out brake parts. Not willing to spend the $ to repair/replace.

- The construction is not quality. All welds have broken. I was lucky to have a iron fence guy at our house and he re-tack welded.

- The control unit has now failed. Won't charge at all.

- Brakes stopped working very soon. Its a steel band that tightens on a drum. Found it to be super touchy. If adjusted too much, you wear out the tire as described, or you don't get much braking.

- only 90 day warranty. I'm done with this scooter, going in the trash (after we recycle the battery).

So, we got our $100 out of it, but we were hoping for a longer life. Now looking at other brands.

X-Treme Scooters Sport Electric Bicycle Moped Review

Buyer beware.The X-treme scooter needs assembly upon arrival and warranty is only good for parts not labor, so after several email back and forth, they actually DID send me replacement parts, but nevertheless I ended up returning the bike to Amazon.I have a local dealer who could service the bike, but X-treme refused to pay for anything, even though the bike was damaged right out of the box.Thank goodness I bought it at Amazon, as they are very customer oriented, and understand what's going on.

I ended up buying a Veloteq Cougar locally instead of this bike.To all those interested, be wary of buying online, as the support from X-treme will not be there.

Razor Pocket Mod Miniature Euro Electric Scooter Review

When my 11-year old started begging for an electric scooter, we were very hesitant.A neighbor has one and it's the stand-up kind with a VERY loud motor that drives us nuts on the weekends.We gave in, and went shopping.While we were reviewing the standing scooter, we noticed the Razor Pocket Mod and it was the SAME PRICE!I, of course, thought it was adorable and my daughter was easily swayed.

It was easy to put together and charge, however pumping the tires was a wee bit difficult just because of the angle required.The tires are nice and fat/sturdy, too, so riding offroad or over small rocks wasn't an issue.The biggest thing we noticed though, was that it is AMAZINGLY QUIET!What a blessing compared to the neighbor's noisy scooter!It practically 'purrs' and you don't even hear it until you are right next to it.

Seeing her ride it is incredible!It is VERY easy for any child that can balance and ride a bike.The handle brakes/gas takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few days she was a pro!Her papa rides a motorcycle, so he was dying to check it out.Weighing in about 180lbs, he was able to ride it as well!My daughter got a big kick out of that.

The battery lasts quite a while!An hour may not sound like a lot of time, but if it's not continuous (kids stop/start chat/ride/play) it can last hours.It charges quickly and easily, and it's small and fits well in the side of the garage.Though she's 11, we were told by the salesman that younger kids who are responsible can definitely ride it.

It IS fast, though, which was a bit unnerving at first.It doesn't sound like 15 MPH is that fast (I think that's what it is), but when you see your child going down a hill that fast - it seems quite scary!It doesn't turn quite as sharply as a bike or standing scooter can, so they have to learn it's limitations.Definitely get a helmet and kneepads!

This is the BEST ITEM we have purchased for her in YEARS!Highly recommended!

Peg Perego Ducati Monster Review

This is an awesome little motorcycle!!! Mom may be a little frightened at first because on the 2nd speed it moves pretty quick and the front wheel jumps off the ground when the throttle is turned. Be cautious of having bigger kids ride this bike because someone rode ours that was too big and cracked the front fork. However, I called Peg Perego and they shipped a new front fork out immediately and for no charge. Their customer support is outstanding!! Overall a great toy and my three year old loves it!!
