. . . bumper.This is a cute plastic woven basket that appears to be quite durable.Attaching the basket was a little difficult simply because I wanted to leave the foam bumper thing on the handlebar (the soft thing wrapped around the top middle portion of the handlebars with characters on it -- don't know the actual name of that thing).That meant I needed to wrap the ties farther out or around the bumper; and either way, it was a stretch.If I had removed the bumper, there wouldn't have been any problem.
My daughter likes it all for looks.She doesn't put anything in it; but the bike doesn't have a kickstand, so it gets thrown on the ground a lot.Still, the basket has remained intact and it looks great.
