We gave me daughter this bike for her second birthday and she loved that it was Elmo.That is the only reason I gave this bike one star.If I could give it zero I would.Cons:
First off when she got the bike she was unable to pedal it herself.As another poster said it sits pretty high.So, she wasn't able to use the bike till closer to two and a half.
Second, the music is so loud and annoying.I have two kids and normally can tune most things out but this is impossible.I finally just had to take the batteries out since there is no volume control.
Third, this thing tips easily.It is not sturdy at all.
Fourth, after only a few months of use this thing it squeaks horribly!Not to mention one of the pedals continues to fall off.
Fifth, I loved the idea of the handle to help steer while this kids are younger.That is actually one of the features that drew me to this bike.Unfortunately, the handle has so much give you really have no control at all.
Overall, I am very unhappy with this bike.Kids love it because it is Elmo but really that is the only positive to this bike.If I were you save your money and keep looking.
