This should not be considered a standalone lock for a high risk area, but it is a quick and handy way to make your bike a little less attractive to steal.The ease of use ensures that it will get used frequently, and any lock has to be better than nothing at all.My preferred use for this lock is as a backup for a good U-lock.With both locks, the bike looks fairly unfriendly for carrying away, and it allows you to lock the front wheel without removing it, which I find quite a pain.
