We bought two of these for our twin two-year-old girls. They have loved playing on them, and I use the handles all the time to take walks around the neighborhood. This particular Kettler has the following pros and cons:Cons: The handle is misrepresented in the image. It is a straight bike handle type grip, not the special round parent grip represented in the photo. The front wheel does not lock like the higher end Kettler trikes. As a result, parents may need to tip the tricycle back slightly to steer.
Pros: This is a very sturdy tricycle. The frame is steel with a sturdy plastic seat and the wheels are rubber. The frame has a low center of gravity to reduce tipping risk and nicely fits the smaller child. The colors are very appealing to little girls. The handle is very useful (particularly when you have to manipulate more than one at a time and prevent toddlers from rolling downhill) and easy to remove. My girls love the bucket on the back to carry their various treasures. The lower price (compared to the higher end Kettlers) is much more in line with the high end Radio Flyers.
