I am satisfied with this lock. The length is just right for locking to a post/fence/etc. Although the cable is quite stiff and takes a bit of wrestling to thread it thru the fence slats. Still, I'm glad I didn't get a 5 or 6 footer that would have been thinner gauge. Along with the bike frame bracket, this lock travels very well.
