Radio Flyer Classic Red 10-Inch Bicycle with Chain Drive Review

My 3 yr old boy just received this for his b-day. I was a little concerned re: it's size being to small (short use span) for him, but I do not believe that this will be the case at all. I also have a 4 yr old boy which rides this bike comfortably. The bike is rock solid (it is fairly heavy) and the quality seems well above average. Despite the bike being only a 10" model, I think it will suit the average 2 1/2 - 5 yr old fine. There is ample room to elevate both the seat and handle bars. The solid rubber tires and solid rubber training wheels (the latter both have contact with the ground at all times along with the rear wheel--no tippy wobbles!) provide a smooth and quiet glide. The bell has that fun classic ring! The seat has nice padding. The bike has a good bikechain/pantleg guard. There is NO BRAKING function on this model. I think that this bike would be a good alternative to buying both a tricycle and a small two-wheeler like this. I wish I had realized this before already buying two tricycles! For those of you contemplating a tricycle still, the Kiddio Supertrike 4 can not be beat-the quality is outstanding! (I wrote a review for that trike on June 20, 2002.)

Disney Princess 12" Girls Bike Review

We purchased this bike for our daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves pink and loves the Disney Princesses so it was a big hit!We purchased the 16" Disney Princess bike for our 3 year old daughter. The 16" bike is for ages 3-7 but is too big for our 3 year old.She now wants to ride her sister's smaller bike (which of course causes issues!).Anyway, the bikes are great, sturdy, good quality and the girls love them.I would suggest this one (the 12") unless your child is about 5 years old - just due to size.

Kettler Violet Girls' Bike (12-Inch Wheels) Review

We ordered this bike for my daughter for Christmas, and we're all very pleased with it.Our daughter is 3 1/2 and very proficient at riding her tricycle, so she was ready for the next "level" of bike. This bike is perfect for that, because the 12-inch wheels are just the right size while putting her a little higher and requiring the slightest awareness of balance with the training wheels. Our daughter is on the petite size so we set the seat to the lowest position, but the seat and handle bars are fully adjustable and the training wheels are removable for when she's mastered her balance. She hopped on her bike Christmas morning and immediately took off after a few minutes of getting used to it, and she wants to ride it everyday. The only reason we gave it 4/5 stars is because the manufacturer requires a slightly unusually large size of Allen Wrench, which they do not include. We had to obtain this size elsewhere since our Allen Wrench set didn't have one.Otherwise we highly recommend this bike!

Huffy Disney Princess Girls Bike, Purple, 12-Inch Review

We bought this for our 4 year old doughter. We live in NE so she hasn't been able to ride it outside yet, because of the snow. But she has been riding it in the house. She loves it! I can't think of anything negative about it. I would buy this again.
