John Deere - 20" Boys Bicycle Review

I have nothing but praise for this product. It is well constructed and has several safety features not found on more recognized brands. The manufacture (Kent) provides great customer sevice.

However, before you buy check around for a better price.I was in a hurry and did not research other sources. Yes, I did receive free shipping, but even taking that into consideration, I paid too much. After the fact I sadly found that even the local John Deere distributor, who is normally more expensive, to be $28 less money than Amazon.

Mantis Boys Grizzled 20-Inch Bike Review

The packaging was horrible. There were holes in the box. Although the holes were far from where the handle bar was placed, the handlebar has some scratches and chipped paint as well as other parts of the bicycle.

A little concerned too because the bicycle has no brakes... we have not assembled it yet but I hope it's got pedal brakes. It's for an 8-yr-old boy who owned a 20-inch bike before. If it doesn't have pedal brakes, then I guess we have to spend extra to get front and back grip brakes...
