Dora the Explorer Bike (12-Inch Wheels) Review

At 2 my daughter got a trike that we pushed her around on. We got this bike for her at 3 and it was a bit big for her.It was perfect to grow into and now that she has it figured out, she zooms around on it like a teenager.I figured out that the trike was hard for her to manuever because the pedals are actually on the front wheel.This bike actually gave her more balance and she figured out she actually did have the manpower to pedal herself.She is now 4 and still rides her bike everyday, and we ride down to the park on weekends.We are getting braver each day and getting ready to try taking off the training wheels.GREAT BIKE, Great investment and you certainly can't beat DORA, she's our favorite!

John Deere - 20" Boys Bicycle Review

I have nothing but praise for this product.It is well constructed and has several safety features not found on more recognized brands. The manufacture (Kent) provides great customer sevice.

However, before you buy check around for a better price.I was in a hurry and did not research other sources. Yes, I did receive free shipping, but even taking that into consideration, I paid too much. After the fact I sadly found that even the local John Deere distributor, who is normally more expensive, to be $28 less money than Amazon.

Kawasaki KX16 Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

Just like the 12-inch version we bought for our daughter a year or two ago, this Kawasaki girl's 16-inch bike is well worth the money. We are completely satisfied with our purchase. Unlike the big-box store selection (often in over-the-top girly/frilly colors and designs), this bike is quite sturdy, not too cutesy, and includes additional features that other bikes do not. Some of the best selling points include a chainguard that completely covers the chain. It includes a handbrake in addition to the coaster brake. The seat is comfortably padded. And, it comes with a backpack (which can be attached to the front) and a matching water bottle. We only wish that it had a front tire mud-guard. Amazon's price and shipping-time couldn't be beat.

Diamondback Lucky 16 BMX Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

I got this bike for my son's 7th birthday and it fits him perfectly.I even coast around on it so that tells ya it withstands some weight (although I'm only 160 pounds).
I recommend this bike to anyone that wants his younger son to have a decent bike to have a blast with.
We go on rides almost everyday and he keeps up with me.Although I do encourage him to start slow until he masters the bike.He doesn't have much trouble going up hills now either (not steep grades mind you).

Why do I give it 4 stars?The assembly instructions might as well be in a Chinese dialect lol.If you dont already know all the "biking" terms then you will be in the dark with these instructions.But in time, just looking at the bike and putting it together with common sense, with a few adjustments.You'll have that bike on the road in no time.Next time I'm near a bike shop I plan on taking my son's bike so they can properly adjust everything.

Kawasaki Mono Boys 16- Inch Bike, Black/Green Review

Well, it's a cheap bike and it shows. The front wheel is chronically loose and the rear wheel has a lot of friction. Also, the rear wheel is extremely out of alignment. Unfortunately, this is typical of bikes in this price range. I bought my daughter a Groovy Girls 16" bike a few years back that had the same problems. She dealt with it for two years, but I think this one is going back. The only good thing about it is that it's very easy to assemble, but maybe that's because I've had so much practice over the years.

Diamondback Joker BMX Bike (20-Inch Wheels) Review

I bought this bike for Christmas for my cousin. He loves the bike so far and it seemed more than capable of dealing with my 240lb weight, so it should do quite well with a 10 year old.

There was an adjustment nut missing for the ORYG that a local bike shop gave me, other than that, putting it together was a snap.
