Mantis Lil Burmeister Boys 12- Inch Bike, Gray/Blue Review

I thought my little one could ride a 16, but after a few tries I realized the 16 was just a tad big.So I got this bike, easy to assemble. Now it works great, the only concern I have is that the seatpost angle could be a bit more canted, so the rider is less upright. That would adjust the seat to handlebar distance.

Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go Trike Review

OK, I have read the reviews and am puzzled by the conflicting reports.I have six kids and have owned many trikes over the years. This one is by far the best I have seen.I think other reviewers may be reviewing different Radio Flyer trikes. This model comes in the primary or pastel colors, although the pastel is hard to find.It is very stable and I could not get it to tip with even very firm pressure. The handle bars do not turn all the way around, they lock safely before anything dangerous would happen. My daughter is 2.5 and was able to climb on and pedal right in the store. We have been all over the neighborhood this past week and she has not fallen once.My neighbor's 18 month old daughter tried it this afternoon and while she had a tough time figuring out the pedals, there was no sign of tipping or danger. This trike is obviously styled after the Kettler and I think they did a great job at a great price. The trike comes fully assembled and folds for travel. It can even be folded and hung on a hook in the garage. I paid $40 for this trike and I think it is a fabulous find!!

Dora the Explorer Bike (12-Inch Wheels) Review

At 2 my daughter got a trike that we pushed her around on. We got this bike for her at 3 and it was a bit big for her.It was perfect to grow into and now that she has it figured out, she zooms around on it like a teenager.I figured out that the trike was hard for her to manuever because the pedals are actually on the front wheel. This bike actually gave her more balance and she figured out she actually did have the manpower to pedal herself. She is now 4 and still rides her bike everyday, and we ride down to the park on weekends. We are getting braver each day and getting ready to try taking off the training wheels.GREAT BIKE, Great investment and you certainly can't beat DORA, she's our favorite!

Kawasaki KX16 Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

Just like the 12-inch version we bought for our daughter a year or two ago, this Kawasaki girl's 16-inch bike is well worth the money. We are completely satisfied with our purchase. Unlike the big-box store selection (often in over-the-top girly/frilly colors and designs), this bike is quite sturdy, not too cutesy, and includes additional features that other bikes do not. Some of the best selling points include a chainguard that completely covers the chain. It includes a handbrake in addition to the coaster brake. The seat is comfortably padded. And, it comes with a backpack (which can be attached to the front) and a matching water bottle. We only wish that it had a front tire mud-guard. Amazon's price and shipping-time couldn't be beat.

Diamondback RM Boy's Bike (12-Inch Wheels) Review

The bike comes with NO installation instructions, completely disassembled. My dad and I spent over an hour trying to put the pieces together and came up with something that wasn't workable. I took it to a local bike shop so I could pay for assembly.GUEST WHAT! They had an identical bike for about the same price!

This is a nice, high quality bike - but DO NOT buy it online. It is not intended to be purchased by a consumer - but is sold by the manufacturer for bike shops! It requires special assembly tools and good technical knowledge of bicycles. There is no customer support from DiamondBack - it is not a consumer-direct business! You'll be stuck with a construction set and will be paying $30-$50 to a bike shop in the end.

We purchased this bike a week ago, and are still quite happy with our purchase. Our 3 year old son loves it.It is a perfect first bike for a toddler boy.The seat is adjustable and you can brake using the pedals.Seems to be well constructed and sturdy. It does take about a half hour to put the wheels, seat, handlebars, and training wheels on, but it is well worth it.Great buy!
