I thought my little one could ride a 16, but after a few tries I realized the 16 was just a tad big.So I got this bike, easy to assemble.Now it works great, the only concern I have is that the seatpost angle could be a bit more canted, so the rider is less upright.That would adjust the seat to handlebar distance.

Playskool Glide to Ride Bike Boy Review

The tire size for this bike is 12 inches with an inflatable tube but it sits lower than our Tonka 12 inch bike with training wheels. I bought this bike for my 2 year old but it is still to big for him. The minimum seat height is 15.5 inches. So, I used it on my smaller 5 year old to gain his confidence. My 5 year old was speeding around on a 16 inch bike with training wheels. After 4 30 minute sessions gliding with this bike my 5 year old was successful at riding without training wheels and with pedals down hill. After adding the pedals the bike is small for him and I will now put the bike away for my small 2 year old to use next year.

My neighbor saw how well the 5 year old was doing so quickly and is going to borrow it for her 5 year old.

Of course to get the best value out of this bike you would be better off getting this bike around 3 years old so you can use it with the pedals too.

Hobby-bike Balance Bike Review

I bought this bike for my son and nephew (both 3.5) for Christmas when I couldn't get the Kettler one.This bike is so much better.I have several friends with the Kettler and it is a great bike, but this bike is incredibly sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and it comes with petals that can be added.My husband and brother-in-law got the bikes together in minutes.The kids love them and they seem so much more substantial that typical bikes with training wheels - our neighbor has a toddler bike from target with training wheels.Our son is not the most coordinated and the bike does not intimidate him and he can go at his own pace.The tires are really wide and make it very stable.My nephew is extremely agile and is whizzing around already - I am sure he will be wanting the petals on before long.This bike will last - I know I will get use out of it for my daughter as well.Excellent bike, high quality.

Diego 12-Inch Kids Bike Review

Found a Diego Helmet for our son and he loved it.Diego is his favorite right now.When we saw this bike, had to have it for him.When we gave it to him, he was very excited.Easy to assemble.At 2 yrs 8 months, the first two days he could only ride down the driveway on it, by the third day he was pedaling it around the block.At this rate, we are hoping to take off the training wheels next summer.

Diego 10-Inch Sidewalk Bike Review

i bought this bike(in the mermaid ariel theme)for my 2 year old daughter. the manufactor's age for this bike is 1 1/2 year and up. this bike is awful. the seat is set up like it would be on a normal bike BUT, the pedals are attached to the FRONT wheel like a tricyle- which make it IMPOSSIBLE for a child to reach the pedals while sitting on the seat. my 4 year old son can reach the pedals but, he even has a hard time riding it. its truly a waste of money and if i could find the receipt, i would take it back! it was a huge disappointment-as a Christmas gift. Whoever designed this bike did not have a child in mind. there is no way a child could ride this bike comfortably even if they could reach the pedals.

Thomas the Tank Engine Boys Bike (12-Inch Wheels) Review

Overall, a nice bike for our 3 1/2 year old daughter.A few small problems:

* The assembly guide included in the box didn't seem to be about this particular bike (a totally different model was discussed).
* The wheels have no inner tube -- fine by me, except that it turned out to be impossible to put air into the wheels using a hand pump; needed to take the bike to the gas station on its first day, as it came with floppy tires
* The front plate was not attached to the bike, nor was there any hardware to attach it with
